Inhaling mask for an on demand and with over pressure oxygenation system.

UTILISATION CONDITIONS

For use on all aircraft with sealed cabin up to an altitude of 15000 metres, on all aircraft without sealed cabin up to an altitude of 1 2000 metres and for a short period, up to 13500 metres.
Made in three sizes : 1, 2 and 3. Size 1 is the smallest size.
Monthly verification on ULMER 23. 29 or 693 and derivatives test bench.
It must be used with a helmet provided with oxygen mask attachment hook ULMER

PARTICULAR CONDITIONS

It is equipped with a face piece  and oxygen pipe (57 whorls) in silicone  elastomer "ULSIL 322", (color :Green Army).

 The reinforcement shell is made of plastic and the face piece of silicone  elastomer ensuring a perfect hold of the mask to the face in the event of ejection.

The very enveloping form improves the hold on the face for the ejections at high speed.

This mask comprises a breathing-out valve specially designed to function  during sharp accelerations up to a value of 10 g.

The oxygen supply pipe ensures the connection the feeding circuit
out of oxygen.
It is equipped with a connection with a three spigots (NATO MIL-M27274 Standard) connection.

 The orientation of the side connection on the cap (backwards) allows the advance and the fixing of the oxygen supply pipe along the life jacket of the pilot decreasing the mass thus to be supported at the time of the movements of head. This advance of  the oxygen supply pipe also has the advantage of completely releasing the visual field of the pilot forwards and downwards.

This mask must be carefully fitted to the face and be of the right size to ensure airthight fitness.
 

 RACCORDENTS ELECTROACOUSTIQUES

A radio cable, fixed to the pipe system by five silicone elastomer clips of the same quality and of the same color than the oxygen pipe and the face piece.

 The intercom connector is carried out by intermediate  of a plug with 10 contacts.  The cable exceeds 350mm of  oxygen supply pipe.

The other end is separate in two circuits.
- one going directly to the microphone
- The other is being connected to the helmet by intermediate of a miniaturized plug with nine pins moulded being fixed at the helmet by two unlosable screws.
