This jacket was mostly worn by the US Navy crew from the end of the 40's to the mid 70's. Following the massive Americain, The French Fleet Air Arm also used it during the Indochina war. The  colour of the French model has always been yellow, which is the characteristics of models of the 50's (orange for the ones in the 60's).
